It's Just Me.

This is my freshman attempt at blogging. I plan for it to be all encompasing. From recipes to rants. Anything and everything Emily.
 I am a 41 year old woman, with a 16 year old Daughter, married and a Beagle owner. I love to write, cook from scratch, sew and crochet. I don't use my loom enough and I don't spend enough time in the garden. I love hard rock, alternative punk and anything from the 80's. I am very girly and think Audrey Hepburn is the Femme' Supreme. I don't wear white after labor day or before Easter, I do know which fork to use, and I think you should always have good manners, no matter who you are. Bad manners make you cheap. Good manners can raise you up even from the poorest of circumstances. And YES. I do carry my portable SOAP BOX in my purse for impromptu speeches. Thank you very much. I am a christian who has had about enough with christians right now. I am currently looking for a new church, but am quite at home being just at home with God at the moment. I do not consider christianity a religion, but rather a lifestyle. It is part of my being as much as my right arm. I would not cut it off, but I will be careful of what I wear on that arm. Certain doctrines / creeds that are based with in the evangelical strain have begun to take on a Inquisitional tone, and I will not be a part of that. Where is the Love? Christ is Love and these folks do not present that... so I will commune with my Lord myself, and love my friends, for who they are and for what they contribute as the individuals that they are. Just as God does. Accepting them with in the Free Will of God.
