Warning: Aunt Flo Discussion- Run Boys if you can't handle it.
Ok, I've had it.
Who in the holy F*** decided that "Have a Happy Period" was a good freakin' ad campaign? I mean is this REALLY selling Always Products? Cause frankly, it makes me determined NOT to purchase their products. I'd rather buy the store brand and have to use TWICE as many than to support, "Have a Happy Period."
I could go into a long, disgusting diatribe as to WHY having the equivilant of an
oozing wound between your legs for a week would not constitute a happy occaison, but I won't. But I am SERIOUSLY tired of hearing that catch phrase on commercials. Seriously. Try another angle. I still won't buy your products, but I
probably won't feel inclined to publicly slam you either.
Your choice.

New Year, New Me
Ok, so its a new year, new focus on the blog. Yeah, I know its almost the end of the second month of the new year, but hey, what can I say- busy, distracted, otherwise obligated. But I'm here now.
Lots of changes in my life:
Pending divorce, currently living with the rents, searching for better paying work, child in last year and 1/2 of highschool, searching for colleges, etc, etc, etc.
Anyone know how to fix a lottery ticket?

Coming of Age
Below is a paper my daughter "Darth Barbie" wrote for class.
I find it an interesting, insightful missive. Your comments, discussion and thoughts are welcome:
Faith: the belief in a divine being or a divine purpose further from our own small lives. But is that really faith? Why have we become so wrapped up in the subject of religion, belief, and our own significance that religion has become the subject of faith and belief, and faith and belief almost a dirty word?
